Ocean conditions today
A south westerly wind came through early this morning with a good shower of rain. The wind has since dropped off and weather is overcast. Dive conditions are excellent with an easy launch.

Glassy ocean conditions today at Aliwal Shoal
The south westerly blasted through yesterday and blew for most of the day. In our world, this is our doctor wind and we woke up this morning to a wonderful ocean with a light south westerly blowing. Visibility awesome.
Dive sightings yesterday
We had a fantastic drift dive yesterday, from North Sands, through to South Sands and onto Eelskin. Along the way, we had at least 12 bottlenose dolphins underwater with us on scuba, we sighted a guitar shark and got 7 blacktip sharks near Eelskin. We have a moderate south westerly wind blowing. Viz is currently 20m+, water temperature 24 degrees C. Surface conditions are choppy but diveable.
