After 3m visibility on Saturday, today (Sunday) we find 30m visibility with a water temperature a chilly 17 degrees C. Raggedtooth sharks are in abundance, along with plenty of blacktip sharks. We still have regular sightings of humpback whales too, so all in all there is a lot going on down here.

Absolutely stunning dive conditions today. Light south westerly became moderate south westerly, calm launch conditions. Viz 20m, water temperature 24 degrees C on the bottom and 25 degrees C midwater. N – S current pulling inshore. Great diving.

Aliwal has great conditions today. A moderate south westerly wind has come through this morning, even though a moderate north easterly was forecast. Just goes to show that we have to be our own weatherman at times. Launch conditions are favourable, light S – N current with decent viz.
Conditions today are superb. We awoke to a very glassy ocean, small surf launch and it looks like great viz at this point. Temperature has risen to 23 degrees C again and its all looking like summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
