Diving with Sharks & Offshore Africa Port St John’s had the pleasure of hosting Charley Boorman, Russ Malkin and the film crew onboard our vessel Offshore 1 recently to film the sardine run as part of the new TV series Extreme Frontiers South Africa.  The show will be aired in November 2012 and features amazing stories and adventures all filmed in South Africa.

An incredible day was had by all with massive pods of both Common & bottlenose dolphins and numerous sightings of Humpback whales.  A friendly Skua topped off the day with some clever and brave antics hovering above our boat for a taste of sardines.

The crew were a bit early for good sardine action, however the day offered a lot of things never seen before out on the ocean, linked with the beautiful & dramatic scenery of this never to be forgotten part of  South Africa – Port St John’s.
