This weekend

Despite the ongoing presence of the beasterly easterly wind and the on/off viz that we hve been experiencing of late, we enjoyed a fantastic dive to Hammer this weekend.

2 dives were done here with 1-19m depth viz of around 2m (serious) and then below 19m, it opened up to the most incredible viz of 30m.  A chilly 19 degrees C was the temperature at the bottom and 22 degrees C the temperature in the not so great stuff.

A light S – N current prevailed and it was the potato bass that stole the limelight on these 2 dives this weekend.  – you go guys!!!!!!!!!!! Aren’t you just so inquisitive and over friendly!!!!!

Anyway, surface viz prevented us from doing a shark dive this weekend but bottom viz was the highlight of the weekend of diving here at the incredible Rocky Bay reef systems.
